We recently picked up Aureleo Rosano’s latest book. Whether you are looking to start mosaics or just have an interest, this book is for you! Rosano covers “how to” showcasing beautiful artwork. – LINDA BRODERICK NOWAK

I’ll wear my review as a sandwich board and proudly march it all over town!!! I’m still reading …. it’s really, really wonderful! I’ve fiddled with glass and mosaics for a couple of years. It takes “a while” to really understand glass. I LOVE going back and reading The who, what, where, how and whys!!! And the “upside down method” I finally get it. Thank you!!!!! – COLLEEN RICHARDSON

Love your book, your writing style and your sense of humor.  JACKIE ABSLAG

Wonderful book. Thank you for sharing your adventures with mosaics this way. I count my book as a treasure! – LINDA KLINE
You should definetely invest in this book! It is the best instructional book on any subject that I have ever read…. Wish this man would write for colleges and schools, the students would understand it much better than they do with the textbooks that are written so drab and dry that have been used for millenia. I give him an 19 on a scale of 1-10.  Nancy VanWyck

So excited to get this book.   Mosaics with Rosano is a great addition to my library. Filled with so much information, laid out in a relaxed approach. I would find it useful not only as a beginner but as someone who has been doing mosaics for quite some time. Rosano’s technique is uniquely his own. Especially like his advice to take a coffee/biscotti break when I get stuck. I sure have been enjoying my copy. Really well done! – MELANY ADAMSON

My Birthday present arrived in Holland. Mosaics with Rosano.  Thank you, Rosano, for turning a smile on my face. Especially value the essay, how to photograph your mosaic art.  Fantastic!  NADJA VAN DER LIT-KOOP

Curious about making your own mosaic?  Fate has led you to the perfect companion: this book! A brief history, short bio of the author, enticing snippets from creatives, and photos galore lead you into the mechanics/techniques of creating your piece of art.  Through skillful writing, Rosano steps you through the process of making a mosaic.  Most impressive component of this book is the amazing photographs which punctuate the writing throughout.  Every aspect of mosaicking is thoroughly covered from substrates to glass to grout (which warrants its own chapter) and the final sealing and finishing.  Another charm of this book is how it shows one to mosaic on a budget and also with more expensive resources.  The result is the same: an artful mosaic.  Despite having a respectable number of finished pieces under my belt, I often refer to this book.  I highly recommend Mosaics with Rosano as a mainstay mosaic reference for anyone?  MICHELLE BURCHETT

Just received Mosaics with Rosano in the mail and I think it’s incredible.  Filled with detail about every aspect of mosaics.  The pictures of completed projects are extraordinary. How do I add to the list?  PAT ACERRA

I have been so very fortunate to have had the guidance of Aureleo Rosano over those years as he has shared tips and techniques of this beautiful medium in my art school/studio.  With his inspiration he has helped my atelier begin the teaching of mosaics to kids.  After reading this book cover to cover, it is quite complete with great instruction on how to achieve success, great photos of the process and easy-to-follow instruction.  There is no doubt Mosaics with Rosano will be the bible of mosaics and is the book everyone should have and hold!  One feels they are in the studio with him and his great sense of humor makes the whole process so enjoyable and fun! So much more than a “how-to”.  I will treasure my copy.  LINDA AHEARN, Director, Toscana Studio and Gallery

This is it!  I cannot give a higher or more enthusiastic recommendation for Aureleo Rosano’s book on mosaics.  It is far and away the most thorough and entertaining book on the subject and so much more than just a “how-to” book.  Besides being a veritable treasure trove of information on the entire process of making artful mosaics, Rosano goes above and beyond, peppering his wide-ranging and high-quality wares with interesting anecdotes, stories and humor.  Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or an advanced mosaic artist, this book will be your go-to, one-stop resource for information, inspiration and creativity.  It is truly a unique and stunning achievement, the product of a lifetime devoted to making art and making it well.  – CHRIS STAMOS, retired financier& mosaic artist.
